Synopsis
Enjoy the ambiance of one of Sedona's most noted resorts as you discover two great American treasures - Sedona  and the Grand Canyon. With towering red rock spires, the glistening waters and vertical cliffs of Oak Creek Canyon and its mystical aura, Sedona's reputation as one of America's most beautiful places is richly deserved. Discover fascinating human and natural history as you savor its mix of pioneer and artistic spirit. Sedona is located 120 miles north of Phoenix; commercial shuttle available from Phoenix airport.

Course Description
Sedona's natural beauty is the backdrop for a learning adventure in one of the world's finest travel destinations. Enjoy discussions and field trips with expert guides, unlocking the mystery and majesty of canyon country. Travel through Oak Creek Canyon en route to the spectacular South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Walk the rim or descend into the canyon while a geologist helps explain the greatest open book of Earth's history. Witness stunning landscapes while learning its diversity of plant and animal life. Enjoy an open-air trolley ride to Sedona's greatest attractions including the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Chapel of the Holy Cross. Enjoy a presentation on local Native American culture as well as an evening of cowboy stories and music.

Program includes a field trip to Grand Canyon via motor coach, including an IMAX theater presentation, as well as a visit to the historic Cameron Trading Post.
