Where Rock
Meets Water:
The Beauty And Majesty Of Canyon Country
# 6556

Synopsis
Resulting from the construction of the Glen
Canyon Dam in 1963, Lake Powell is a surrealist’s dream, as houseboat
flotillas drift past curvaceous rock formations, hidden coves and
red-rock cliffs. Crystal-clear water reflects the lake’s towering
buttes. The lake winds 186 miles along the Arizona-Utah border and has
over 2000 miles of shoreline.
Page, Arizona, is 278 mi. north of Phoenix;
135 miles from Flagstaff.
