Synopsis
Sedona, known for sculpted red rocks and canyons, is a focal point for healing arts and a center for new age ideas. Immerse yourself in the beauty of this spectacular setting while sampling methods to improve health and harmony. Sedona is a crossroads of pioneers, artists, outdoor pursuits and serenity. Wilderness areas adjacent to lodging offer opportunities for hiking and contemplation. Short hikes and excursions to local "energy" spots, prehistoric sites and Oak Creek Canyon.
Sedona is located 120 miles north of Phoenix; commercial shuttle available from Phoenix airport.

Course Description
Sedona's Healing Arts: Yoga, Tai Chi, and More
Surround yourself with one of America's most beautiful landscapes as you explore ancient techniques and new ideas to cultivate your physical, emotional and mental well being. Study the arts of Tai Chi, yoga and other healing arts in a setting suitable for the merely curious, neophyte or experienced practitioner. Learn about holistic healing techniques including exploration of Native American and herbal remedies/cures. Uncover fact and fiction about the renowned Sedona vortexes and dissect the ins and outs of its "new age" culture. Hike into the nearby red rocks to enjoy their quiet beauty and inspiration. This week allows you the opportunity to explore and understand why this special place inspires and energizes its many visitors.

Accommodations
9/24/06: Boutique hotel in uptown Sedona. Every room's balcony/deck has stunning views of red rock surroundings. Adjacent to art galleries and restaurants. Outdoor pool.

3/4/2007: Resort setting on the banks of Oak Creek with sweeping views of red rock surroundings, tennis courts, golf course, fitness room and spa, swimming pool. All meals included
