Course Description
Life at the Bottom: The Ultimate Grand Canyon Whitewater Adventure
The mighty Colorado River and the Grand Canyon are symbols of the adventurous spirit of the Southwest. A place where geology, water and time have created one of our nation's most spectacular natural wonders. A place where the overwhelming spirit of the present is juxtaposed against the dawn of life on earth. Enjoy guided hikes to archaeological ruins, narrow canyons, waterfalls and other treasures only accessible by river. Motor rafts allow time for exploration and learning - from the canyon's incredible natural history, to the Native Americans who consider it the birthplace of humanity, to finally the heroic human saga personified by Major John Wesley Powell. Touch some of the oldest rocks found on the earth while renewing your spirit.

Accommodations
2 nights in modern hotel with clean and spacious rooms, indoor pool and spa. 7 nights camping out under the stars along the river with equipment provided (tent, sleeping bag and pad).
